This Lavender Gin and Sour is Frederique (Garden Bar Founder) her favourite drink. The lavenders' sweet and floral taste is the perfect companion to the piny juniper flavour of gin, this along with the acidity you get from the lemon juice balances all these strong flavours in the most delicate ways. For this recipe you will need:
2 oz. (French) Gin
1 oz. Fresh lemon juice
½ oz. Garden Bar Lavender Simple Syrup
Optional:1 egg-white
Mix in shaker with ice (or stir), strain and pour into a cold glass on the rocks. Just be sure to only add the egg-white if you plan on using a cocktail shaker.
